Participating in a Musical (play) in December
Releasing 2nd official album next month
Group SS501’s member, Park Jungmin (21) will start his activities as a performer (actor) after 3 years of debut as a singer.
He, who is known as the member of multi-entertainer ability and with good singing and dancing ability, will debut as a performer in a big-scale musical at the end of December. He is making his decision shortly between an overseas licensed musical and popular original musical and will start to rehearse once decided.
He had been proposed to act in musical since his debut but he had to sacrifice due to the group’s advance into Japan. Even during their activities in Japan, he was invited to perform by a musical/play-related personnel who noticed his talents but because the long-running performances clashes with the group’s schedules, his debut in the Japan Musical has also vanished.
Company’s spokesperson said that before Park Jungmin debut as a singer, he is very interested in acting and has many opportunities, he especially takes a liking to musical plays because it requires singing to go along with the performance.
SS501 will release their 2nd offfical album in the mid of next month. From December, Park Jungmin will perform in musical play, Kim HyunJoong will act in drama “Boys over flowers”, doing their individual activties.

''PARK JUNG MIN''

SS501’s Park Jung Min teased fans earlier with various shots from his upcoming solo album, and he’s
recently revealed more photos through his official homepage.
Uploaded on November 18th, fans swooned over his sharp jawline and lean body as well as his ability to morph from mysterious and mature, to bold and provocative. The variety in his image changes left fans wondering how it would reflect his music.
A representitive from his management stated ‘We shot the music video on November 15th and 16th, and we are working our hardest with whatever time we have left before the comeback.‘
Aside from preparing for his album release on the 25th, Jung Min is also looking forward to the showcase and fanmeeting for the 27th, through which he will share his songs and various videos with his fans.
Park Jung Min will release his 1st mini album on the 25 November and start his full scale activities. After SS501 contract with their management company DSP ended on June this year, the members has individually moved on to different agencies, starting their actor, musical, radio DJ and various activities. Among them, Park Jung Min will first appeared as a singer.

Park Jung Min is currently getting the full support from popular composer Sinsadong Tiger. Sinsadong Tiger is the composer of Secret’s ‘Magic’, BEAST’s ‘Shock’ and T-ara’s ‘Bo Peep Bo Peep’ and etc. Currently he is composing the main title song for Park Jung Min’s mini album and also took on the producer role.
According to his management company CNR Media, Sinsadong Tiger is composing suitable songs for Park Jung Min which doesn’t deviate much from SS501 image. The whole album’s style is mainly based on dance music. According to related personnel, ‘Has trust in Sinsadong Tiger’s talent and sense, has request to bring out Park Jung Min’s new image as a singer’ and ‘Has been undergoing vocal training and dance practice for solo come back, currently is at the final stage of recording.’
Park JungMin solo album, other than Korean, also will be recorded in Japanese and Mandarin. It is expected to release in Asian region. After his music activity started, he will hold his fan meeting at Seoul Kwangwoon University with his fan on ~~21st~~ 27th.
Park Jung Min revealed via his management company: “Feel very nervous, hope to meet with fans soon. Please anticipate future activities from singer to actor.”

Triple S fans mark your calendars! May 1st, also known as 501 Day, the men of ss501 will be returning to the kpop scene.
During the press conference for their “Persona” encore concert, leader Kim HyunJoong announced that the group is thinking of releasing their next album within the next few months. Everything is in the planning stage so it is unknown whether they will release a mini-album or their second full-length album.
If you can recall their last comeback was in October 2009 with the mini-album Rebirth. Now that they have had their Asia concert tour the group stated they “learned a lot about performing on stage.” As idol hoobaes they want to “meet fans with a fantastic album,” expressing their desire to “hold Asian tours every year and communicate with fans.”
